Sumner County communities are preparing to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks, food, music, and family-friendly activities across the county.
Goodlettsville will host its Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3, at Moss-Wright Park. The event begins at 4:00 p.m. with food vendors and an activity zone, with fireworks scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
Hendersonville’s Freedom Festival also returns on Friday, July 3, at Drakes Creek Park. The free celebration includes live music, food trucks, local vendors, a Kids Zone, and a fireworks finale.
In White House, the Americana Celebration and Fireworks Show is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, at the White House Soccer Complex. The evening celebration is listed from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and includes music, community activities, and fireworks.
For Gallatin, the Let Freedom Ring on the Square event includes a spectacular drone show.
The celebration continues in Portland on Saturday, July 11, with Americana in the Park / Fireworks in the Park at Richland Park. The event is expected to include fireworks, live music, food vendors, and family activities.
